2. Orange can reduce any risks for disease

Orange peels contain high level of antioxidant, polyphenol, to be exact. This substance can protect body cells from any damages caused by inflammation and free radicals. Polyphenol can also boost body immune system and stimulate cells regeneration.

Therefore, orange peels can reduce any risks for various diseases, such as heart disease, digestion system problem, reduced nerve function, diabetes type 2, pancreatitis, and several types of cancer.

3. Orange peels keep your teeth healthy

Orange peels contain anti-bacterial substance and minerals, such as phosphor and calcium. The anti-bacterial substance prevents the plaque formation and cavity. Meanwhile, phosphor and calcium are essential to keep your bones and teeth strong and healthy.

Moreover, orange peels also contain substance called limonene. Limonene is proven to be effective in whitening teeth naturally, as it dissolves dental plaque.
